500 independent truckers sign up with Teamsters

“Join the union,” Wilfredo González, a new Teamster member, shouted as he gave a flyer to truckers entering the Port of Miami the morning of September 26.
Daily prounion rallies are being organized at the port’s entrance as part of the Teamsters effort to organize some 1,700 independent truckers in the area. Carriers group announces reorganization
